A brief list and description of various planets, systems and locations visited in this story.
Alderaan: A core world close to the center of the galaxy it resides near the intersection of the Parlemian Trade Route and the Hydian Way. Alderaan has a lush temperate climate with rich fertile soil vast oceans, and great river basins. As a result, life flourished and there were always plentiful resources to go around. The last wars fought on Alderaan occurred countless millenia ago in deep history and were all but forgotten. Since then weapons have been banned on the surface of the planet and most of its inhabitants pursue lives of agriculture, artisan works, or philosophical musings. Since its primary exports are food and bacta (a medicinal organisms) Alderaan has been known to send aid to all parties indiscriminately during Galactic conflicts, while staying neutral itself. It's pacifist nature led to it being the nucleus of political peace summits throughout known history. Some believe this planet may be the original birthplace of hummanity, but due to the prolific spread of this species throughout the galaxy its actual origin is difficult to determine with certainty.
Korriban: Located in the Outer Rim, this is a desolate planet, once inhabited by the sith. Covered mostly in rock, it has an arid environment with breathable oxygen, likely a result of special bacteria found in its coarse sand. Later, it became the headquarters of the Sith Order and houses many ancient Sith Lord tombs. As such, it is very strong with the Darkside of the Force.
Mandalore: The fifth planet in the Mandalore System it lies on the edge of the Outer Rim in close proximity to the Hydian Way. Once the world was filled with lush jungles, veshok forests, and many predatory species including the Mythosaurs. Since the rise of the Mandalorians, the native sentient species, the planet was torn asunder by war. It's natural resources, in particular beskar ore (a nearly indestructible alloy), were harvested to fuel countless conflicts over thousands of years. Now a new Mandalorian government has resided over one hundred years of peace and began the process of rebuilding the ravaged planet. Mandalore has two moons, one of which, Concordia can sustain life.
Nar Shaddaa: Nar Shaddaa was the largest moon of Nal Hutta, the capital of Hutt Space. It's entire surface was covered by one giant city, a grittier, smaller and more polluted Courscant. Its location in Hutt space made it prime real estate for all manner of criminal activity. It was a breeding ground for smugglers, bounty hunters and fencers of stolen goods. They called the urban landscape that blanketed the surface of the moon vertical cities, because when one layer fell into ruin and rampant crime, they just built another layer on top. The primary economy on the planet, besides the black market was unregulated industry, hence the insufferable pollution that strangled the lower levels of the city, occupied exclusively by the poor.
Roche Asteroid Field: Located in the Mid Rim territories along the Parlemian Trade Route (main hyperspace lane), the Roche Asteroid Field is a large compilation of Space Rocks inhabited by the Verpine species.
Valley of the Sleeping Kings: Location This foreboding canyon on Korriban housed the great mausoleums of the native sith kings. After the sith were conquered and enslaved by the Sith Lords, these tombs became their burial crypts, resulting in the change of name to Valley of the Dark Lords.
